Coach Asim Bio
Coach Asim comes from a long soccer background. Asim grew up in northern NJ, and played travel soccer with the Allendale Americans for 10 years as a youth. During his time at the high school age, Asim was selected to participate in a program called “Bergen’s Best” where he spent a summer training under former U.S. Men’s National Team Coach, Bob Bradley. Asim also travelled abroad with the East-West Soccer Ambassadors when he was 14 years old, where he trained for a week in the Netherlands, and then participated in the Italy Cup and the Austria Cup as a starting center-back.
Asim played his high school years at Don Bosco Prep. H.S. and then went on to Villanova University where he played for the Men’s team during their Spring and Summer competitions against other local universities.
Most recently, Asim has coached U9-U11 travel soccer at West-Mont S.A. from 2016-2022. During this time, Coach Asim received many honors for his coaching, including:
- Travel Coach of the Year 2018/19, West-Mont United S.A.
- Travel Coach of the Year 2017/18, West-Mont United S.A.
- Intramural Coach of the Season 2016, West-Mont United S.A.
- High School Varsity Coach of the Year 2014, Kohelet Yeshiva High School
Coach Asim has also dedicated much of his time on learning the science and techniques behind performance training for Soccer Athletes. Some of Coach Asim’s qualifications are as follows:
